    The hotel is close to the train station. On a road with significant traffic at night too. Nice and helpful Staff. Wifi OK in the rooms also. Rooms with window on the hallway. Very noisy. Poor breakfast

    Merlin International is a nondescript small hotel in the city. The room was clean. The en suite bath was very small, just about manageable. This is a three-storied property with no elevator. Merlin is an event-hotel. Its performance in that service is also modest

    Stayed from 10.12.17 for one night. Experienced poor service.. Following are the experiences. Check in finished with in a the time of arrival there was towel lying on the floor which was used by previous guest. Bed sheet and duvet cover was not fresh and it was used by previous guest and full of stains and hairs.. Called housekeeping guy to change those sheets and he doesn't know how to make bed. At last he managed to put single bedsheet in a double bed..Bathroom was very smelly and W. C band in place but not cleaned well. Hand spray was closed condition and when I open I found it is leaking and kept as it is. Every 2 hours I called for WiFi password and the answer was" I will call you back with username and password" and I am still waiting for their call... Telephone is making louder beep noise and difficult to call some one.. Morning housekeeping lady was very quick in service and the restaurant staffs also professionals for their duties . Check out process was very fast though the guy was not able to take the print out of my full stay bill

    We took a standard room in 1st floor. Appearance of room in live and in photos was completely different. There was some bad smell in the room and water droplets were leaking from AC. Sofa was old and dusty. Bed is good. Not a smoke free hotel which cause inconvenience for families and couples. Main advantage is that it has a restaurant where you can find some tasty food.

    I paid 2250 rs and they are saying as I booked through trip advisor, they can't provide a much better room.The washroom is leaking, all wet, too small a room. ..too much. I don't want to recommend anyone.

  • Go for rooms in 2nd floor. Heard that they are well maintained.

  • Decide about the room size depending on your travel days. For overnight stay or short stay Tourist room would do, which have all basic amenities. But in tourist rooms you can hear railway station announcement in night and train noise.
