The hotel is located just inside the centre place. Rooms were very good, well spacious with all modern amenities. Foods were also very delicious with reasonable rates. Just one negative point was that during my breakfast I ordered Masala Dosa. The provided 2-3days old sambar which was too stinky. You shouldn't give such an unhygienic foof to your customers. This was a very bad gesture which I found in the hotel. Other than this its ok.

I stayed here for a total of four nights as stopovers whilst exploring Namdapha and the Mishmi Hills. The location is in a very busy street in the middle of town, which is great if you love the noise and bustle of India just below your window (as I do!) -but maybe not everyone's preference. The entrance is within an indoor shopping mall, so arriving by taxi is fine but probably not ideal if in your own transport. The restaurant is good and food to be recommended; the staff were anxious that we sat in one part if we were going to drink alcohol- not an unusual Indian anachronism. There were a couple of inevitable 'issues', tea was delivered to the room an hour early (3.45am!) and laundry, which had been taken in a few days earlier, arrived back minus a sock; but not the end of the world. The usual bureaucracy of form filling and passport showing each arrival and departure is so standard that it hardly warrants comment! Hot water seemed to be available only on request, but given half an hour's warning, the showers were very good. No real problems all in all, and I'd be happy to recommend the hotel, if allowances are made for Indian inefficiency!

I stayed a total of 4 nights in the Center Point. I travelled quite a lot in India, however for the price this was one of the worst stays. The bed wasn't clean and I had to do it myself when arriving. The staff at the reception was very nice, but some of the staff was very, very keen on tips for doing nothing. The next room was being renovated and work didn't stop until I complained at 11pm! The internet wasn't working during my stay (and seeing other reviews probably never really works).

The hotel is located in a very congested area. Price charged by Yatra.com for the booking is much more than the facility provided. I booked two rooms for five days through 'YATRA.com' from 27th June 2016. In Yatra.com, e-cash back Rs 5800/- (apx) on my booking was showing. I thought that if I get back that amount, its not a bad deal. But after booking, I found that e-cash back is of no use. They allow me to use only about Rs 200/- per booking on my next bookings. So practically e-cashback offered by YATRA.com is misguiding.

This hotel is almost 10 years old in the city and once counted as one of the best hotels. Up gradation has not happened, but can be rated good against the price they are charging. Food quality is good, but not excellent. Room service is good. sometimes cleaning has to be demanded. The quality of linen used is not up to the mark. The toilet supplies are also poor. In case of my room, I found the loo installed at an extra height, which made the usage little uncomfortable. The lift is at the back side of the hotel, which is another point of discomfort. However, compared to some other good hotels this is one of the best located hotel in the city. Recommended for short and economical stay.
