Reason For Rating : Grand Gardenia hotel is not worth for the money. My best advice to anyone would be: "Just don't book this hotel at any cause" Cons: 1. Customer service is so bad. 2. No professionalism from the reception staff. 3. No proper lights in rooms. 4. A/C wasn't functioning properly. 5. Looting money. This hotel shouldn't be in yatra website at all.

What's Good: Good hotel, by the standards used to @ Trichy. The front desk staff, housekeeping, restaurants and overall service were excellent. Kannappa restaurant and breakfast @ Roof were very good. service during breakfast by Joseph was a highlight, despite the busy peak time. Will choose Gardenia again and recommend it

What's Good: One of the better options in Trichy. The complimentary buffet breakfast is great, rooms and hotel premises are very neat and well kept and most of service is very prompt and professional.

We stayed here for two nights after spending our time up on the mountains. It was late at night when we checked in. The hotel is in ideal location. Staff: well not that friendly compared to places we have been. Their service level needs to be improved tremendously. Rooms: They were big and spacious. However, the pillows were terrible, very uncomfortable and flatten. Toilet were somewhat clean, with few small roaches running around. The towels were clean and smelled fresh. We had issues with the TV and what impresses me was the efficiency of the staff who came to rectify, different staffs came more god knows how many times to check the setup box when it clearly shows that the smart card is not detecting, after an hour the staff/maintenance team decided to change the setup box. All this should be maintained before rather than waiting for the guest to complain and taking more than an hour to decide to change the faulty setup box. Environment: Generally ok, thou the corridor seems dusty all the time. We were disturbed by the door bell ringing many times by other guest whom mistook for their friends/ familys room, thats when I realise that the door bell and the room numbers are far apart, giving the benefit of doubts if they mistakingly presser our room door bell. The management should do something abt this so that other dun mistake and unnecessarily disturb others.

As soon as we entered the hotel, even before the checkin formalities are going on, we were given wet and cool tissue and a cool drink as it was 1 pm or so in the hot afternoon. The room is net,clean and tidy. Staff are very courteous and helpful.

What can I say.. this review comes from two visits to this hotel. I stopped in India at the beginning of June 2019 and was so impressed that I booked the same hotel for my return at the end of the month. While the first stay was only three days, the second stay was a week. From the check-in experience, to the front desk personnel, to the pleasant staff who take care of you during the breakfast, the impeccable housekeepers and polite room service staff, the people working there made my social experience at the hotel excellent. The room itself was spacious, updated bathrooms (with hot showers!), air conditioning, and always important, a great, comfy bed. Also, seriously one of the best room service menus Ive seen in my travels. Something else to note was how safe I felt, as a young, solo, female traveller- the staff at this hotel was extremely respectful and I felt extremely comfortable staying alone. I even forgot a bag in my room and it was brought to me maybe 2 minutes into my checkout experience- talk about taking care of your guests! After trying other hotels in the city in the past, this one stands out- I think Ive found my go-to hotel!

My room stay was execellent and comfortable. The restaurant Hotel Kannappa: I had lunch at the restaurant one of the days during my stay. I ordered a non veg meals and they served me Mutton briyani. The manager got my order right but his subsidiaries got it wrong. I ordered egg thosai and 2sets idly to my room but they only served me 2sets idly and they charged me. I had to call and tell them. I was quite surprised that they were careless. I ordered juice to my room and I couldnt finish the drink and I left it in the room fridge. On the day of my checkout, the room boy question me on why I left the juice in the fridge and not finish it. The room boy was quite rude at the moment. The service of this hotel needs to be improved.
