After a long day driving from Leh, we reached Tso Moriri late evening... check in was as quick as the breeze blowing outside... inside was a bit warm...though no heaters were provided, considering it was July... 1. Rooms were tidy, linen were clean. 2. Food was served hot, though not much options. It was tasty. 3. Windows even after being closed, had a tiny opening, which allowed bone chilling wind to gush in... 4. Blankets/quilts were adequate, though one may need to cover fully with it and wear jackets while sleeping... 5. AMS struck me...I was feeling uneasy. The hotel guys called an army doctor from nearby....kept oxygen cylinder on standby.. 6. Parking was adequate ...anyway, not many tourists visit Tso Moriri 7. No credit cards accepted...so bring cash... 8. Very faint BSNL signal only... 9. Though geysers are provided in washrooms, electricity is an issue... 10. No lift...since our room was on 2nd floor... carrying our luggage with symptoms of AMS was very tough... hotel staff did help us... still.. climbing stairs was difficult... 11. Amazing view of lake from hotel rooms... loved it...

Tsomoriri was a beautiful place must consider on your trip to Ladhak. The route to Tsomoriri is filled with amazing landscape. It is very near by China border. The lake view is beautiful and astonishing. You will not get any network connectivity or wifi here.

This property have the best views of Korzok village and Tsomoriri Lake. It is also the only place with hot water shower around the area. Room have amazing views and cosy, comfortable and well-insulated. Window panes are tinted as the sun is really strong at 4500m. Food is delicious and plentiful. Electricity is only available in the evening but it is the same through out in this remote region. Wished I stayed here for two nights instead of one. However do book early and re-confirm your reservation as this place is very popular and always fully booked in the summer.

I stayed here for a night on 27th sep. The place is at a very high altitude and giving the facilities at 3400 per night is really commendable. The staff is courteous and buffet is as per expectation. One advice I gave to the staff is to keep hot water bottles as it is very cold up there, overall a nice stay!

At the altitude at which this hotel is, I'm not complaining as long as I'm not staying in a tent. Rooms are above basic, comfortable and clean . Bathroom is spacious with western toilet, though not super hot but bathable hot water is available. Only problem is climbing upto the rooms on 2nd floor and it sure does make one breathless. Food is average so best is stick to maggi , lemon ginger tea instead of milk tea or get your own snacks. Lovely lake view. Parking can be a problem if hotel is full which it usually is. Oxygen available at a price. Overall a decent and a satisfactory one night stay.
