We checked in late afternoon and were greeted with a welcome drink and a beautiful garland of flowers. We were given our room keys and seeing the room our eyes opened wide. The room was spacious and had carvings of ancient india. Each room had a sparkling chandelier, with cozy indian seating. The wall ceiling gave us a heritage look. The moment we entered the room we felt like the royal Rajasthani family. The bathroom had perfect kits that pampered us. Outside our rooms we had a huge lobby with a copper swing, and an area where you can sip your hot tea. The swimming pool was of temperature control so we did not feel that hot. It had both indoor and outdoor pool with a small gym for fitness freak peeps. The view from the roof top restaurant was breathtaking and overlooking lake Pichhola. We could see the city palace lighting at night. Food was well prepared and perfect to taste. For non-vegetarians lalmass is their signature dish and highly recommended, Overall the stay was very nice and memorable. The staff was also kind and helpful. Must visit.

We stayed here for 3 nights in may and the room was stunning. My husband got sick one of the days so we were stuck in the room for a solid 36 hours. I ordered room service a couple of times - once I got no cutlery (when I went to get some they persisted on bringing it to my room. I said no and they kept pushing that they would bring it which made me feel uneasy), on two occasions I ordered a bottle of beer (the first there was no bottle opener, I called again for a bottle opener but it didn't arrive and the second time the waiter didn't know how to open the bottle). We had an early check out of 4am and asked reception if about 8:30pm if anything was needed from us before we went to bed. At midnight the phone rang asking if we wanted breakfast before we checked out. There was no apology for waking us up at midnight knowing we were checking out soon. The hotel is lovely, incredible view from the rooftop (the cocktails are unusual an old fashioned here is not an actual old fashioned). I felt the staff just wanted tips all the time and I felt uneasy at times that they always wanted to come to the hotel room. Was a nice hotel but I don't think I would stay there again.

I stayed at the palaces and found it amazing in all respect. I would liketo mentionthatMr. Himanshu Adhikari one of the best courteous staff who managed every thing in a great way. Also the food and the stay it self was simply awesom. Would highly recommend atlist once.we had booked Grand Historical and Historical suites. After staying in these palacial rooms I felt like a king myself. Special thanks to Himanshu Adhikari for managing the entire thing beautifully at the last moment as online booking was not available but after I called him in the palace number and still he managed it. Despite me not knowing him he treated me as if we know each other since ages and are good friend. Have stayed in many hotels but the kind of support recd was phenomenal Regards, Mehul Shah

It's a mid size palace converted in to hotel and well maintained by owners and a very efficient and courteous staff with an awesome culinary offerings. Not only couples and business travellers can enjoy a memorable stay, even families visiting with children can have an awesome time. Indoor and outdoor pools are maintained with international standards and offer a very pleasant experience to guests. A must visit Palace at reasonable prices anytime of the season. I recommend a 2 days stay during summer vacation with children up to 15 years of age for a memorable family time.

We stayed in their royal empirical suite for three days and it was an amazing experience. The grandeur, feel along with excellent cleaned and well maintained hotel as well as rooms, finger licking food and their hospitality...everything was just perfect. Though there was some confusion of rooms and days due to some communication gap within their team, but they promptly looked into and were very helpful to ensure our comfortable stay...Must visit property..& Value for money..loved it...!!!
