Me and my Mom stayed at the Little Garden Guest House and we could not have asked for a better stay anywhere! Right from check in to the beautifully done rooms to the warmth and welcoming feel that Akshay Singh and his family extend to their guests: the hospitality is just wonderful. Akshay is well informed, knowledgeable and provides you with a culturally immersive experience with his annectodes about the city and the neighbourhood. His wife Jyoti cooks scrumptious food for breakfast along with organically produced fresh fruits! The rooms and the decor is of a 5 star hotel standard- done up tastefully in soothing colour palattes - this 1860s Haveli transports you back in time in the most charming way. Every corner is adorned thoughtfully with artifacts and antique pieces that you can marvel at and Akshay would be more than happy to unravel the history behind each piece. The location of the guest house is perfect as well with all key attractions within walking distance- Lake Pichola, Jagdish Mandir, Clock Tower and the majestic City Palace. In fact, do walk up to the quaint rooftop of Little Garden Guest House to get an unrivalled view of The City Palace and the neighbourhood. All in all- a must experience to do in Udaipur is to stay at the Little Garden Guest House. The experience is unparalleled to even any high end hotel in the city. If you are looking for a warm, immersive, authentic Udaipur experience in gorgeous rooms- the Little Garden Guest House is where you should be!

I travelled to Udaipur with my girlfriend and we stayed three nights in Little Garden guest House. That was lovely, starting with the welcome of Akshay and his family, the room on the second floor, yellow color was amazing, very well thought in every detail, sockets to charge your phone or laptop next to the bedside table, lovely lighting, a desk and a lovely lounge niche, beautiful decor. the bathroom was equally amazing, spotless, modern with a good lighting (especially appreciated by my girlfriend to do make up), shower with a glass panel (not these kind of indian bathrooms where all room is wet after you take a shower). The original indian breakfast was also really nice is a buffet. we really felt at home and that was from far our best saty experience in India in a 4 stars class room.

We spent 2 nights here in April and were thoroughly impressed. The guest house was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. A proper family vibe. The host was excellent. He gave really good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay in Udaipur. Excellent location. Only 1 small criticism is a below average breakfast.

We had a great stay at this hotel and our host Akshay could not have been more helpful and in fact took us out to dinner at his expense on the first night! It has lovely bedrooms from a past era with antiques to match and despite being very central is cosy and quiet. Would thoroughly recommend anyone using this hotel

This guest house is an absolute gem and I would recommend it to everyone. From the moment I arrived it felt like my home and this was because of the owner and his family who cannot do enough for you to ensure you stay is perfect. I stayed fro the Holi festival and was advised where to buy the correct clothing for the festival, where was best to dine, where best to get leather goods and numerous other helpful hints and tips. Many times the family made chai tea and nibbles for me to enjoy . The rooms are large and clean and decorated in a traditional way. I would recommend this accommodation to anybody and will certainly be back to enjoy the families hospitality. I hope the new baby arrives safe and everybody is well.
