This guest house is an absolute gem and I would recommend it to everyone. From the moment I arrived it felt like my home and this was because of the owner and his family who cannot do enough for you to ensure you stay is perfect. I stayed fro the Holi festival and was advised where to buy the correct clothing for the festival, where was best to dine, where best to get leather goods and numerous other helpful hints and tips. Many times the family made chai tea and nibbles for me to enjoy . The rooms are large and clean and decorated in a traditional way. I would recommend this accommodation to anybody and will certainly be back to enjoy the families hospitality. I hope the new baby arrives safe and everybody is well.

Our family (parents + adult children) had a wonderful two night stay at Little Garden Guest House on our tour of India. The property is beautiful, as are the rooms and breakfast area. It's a real Instagram dream. Akshay (the owner) was lovely and we had great chats about sights to see in Udaipur and Indian culture. Good restaurant recommendation as well! Breakfast was delicious, authentic, and plentiful. The location is great for exploring Udaipur sights and the city in general. You can't drive to the guesthouse but it was very easy to switch from our car to a tuk tuk to get the rest of the way there. Being in an area where there aren't cars was really great for walking around and exploring the city. Highly recommend!

The Little Garden Guest House was a wonderfully hidden paradise amidst central Udaipur. Akshay, the owner, has built and designed the place just around 5 years ago (therefore everything is new). The architecture is beautiful, using styles, pieces and interiors that resemble styles in palaces around Rajasthan. My room was so clean, cozy and homey. Even better, Akshay was a gracious host who is a local and has the best recommendations and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He also helped me booking cabs and tours. Highly recommended ! Gorgeous rooftop space with a view of the city as well. Peaceful place and very nice family run business.

Little Garden Guest House is a true gem in the old city of Udaipur. Tucked away down an alley from the busy street, you are able to enter a serene setting where you can relax and enjoy great views of Udaipur from the lovely rooftop terrace. Breakfast is served fresh and tasty each morning and the staff is friendly, accommodating, and extremely knowledgable about the area. I recommend this quaint place for your next stay in Udaipur. *While not a drawback at all, it is important to note that you will not be able to take a car to the location during certain hours. Instead you have to take a rickshaw. If you call the owner in advance he can explain in detail how to best get to the property.

This centrally located guesthouse is more than we expected. Akshay and his family have owned the building for generations and live on premises. He is perhaps the most pleasant and personable man weve met in our travels. Rooms are very private and recently updated. En suit bathrooms have hot water and shower. Several international guests were there, and as a gay couple, we were welcomed wholeheartedly. Akshays mother cooks a wonderful Indian breakfast (toast and jam are available to those who prefer), and she may make one of the best Masala Chais Ive ever tasted. Try to get a room on the Palace side of the courtyard, as it is quieter at night. We stayed in both the Deluxe and Classic rooms, both equally nice but different in size. Beds were extremely comfortable. Akshay was full of information, arranged car transport to and from airport, and was very attentive every time we saw him. A walking tour is available, and it was outstanding with a very knowledgeable local guide who was almost as nice as Akshay and his family. LGBT and family friendly. We will definitely be back, next time for a much longer stay. Were very impressed!
