Bombay picnic spot is surrounded with panoramic views of the splendid landscape. It is located just 16 kilometers before Mata Chintpurni Temple. It is a unique picnic spot with a beautiful garden, park, hotel, restaurant and boating lake. After worshiping Mata Jwalaji and on the way back home, we stopped there for dinner. Bombay Picnic Spot provides best food at the most reasonable rate. The restaurant serves pure vegetarian food. We purchased token @ Rs.120/- per head for food. They served us hygienic food and I was astonished that there were six kinds of vegetables, rice, chapati, salad & dahi bhalla in each plate against the cost of Rs.120/- only. Bombay picnic spot is a perfect place for family entertainment at a minimum cost.

This is a perfect place for a family outing, midway at Hoshiarpur-Chintpurni road. I was browsing through the reviews of this place and stopped here just to check it out. Though I was a little agitated at Rs.5 entry fee but it was just a small spoiler towards a greater good. Inside the atmosphere is very warm with different shops selling local handicrafts, then there is this restaurant selling poorly snacks and south Indian food but at a relatively less price compared to the other restaurants outside. The taste too wasn't that bad and it was totally worth the money! There were a lot of families here too with their small kids as this place had many games and play structures for kids entertainment. All in all, this is a perfect family stop and you could really have fun with all your loved ones here together!!

We are generally used to small little punjabi dhabas and maggi points on our Himanchal and Uttrakhand trips on the hilly roads. This is a big surprise on the hill toe. It is located on the way from Una to Chintapuri. The food is superb for the price and the place. Must must visit. The rooms are clean and nice as well. A very good stopover if on that route.

The place is good for local population because of reasonably priced food and other items ( rather very low rate for buffet Lunch @ Rs.110/-) Since were travelling from Faridabad to Palampur hence took a break and selected this hotel for overnight stay since on the main road. Rooms are OK with A/C (super deluxe rooms). Service is OK. We did not eat anything in this hotel since were not very comfortable with the quality of food and hygiene standards. Since this place is popular with masses from nearby areas the owners can look into the quality of food and hygiene standards maintained. Will do well if clean white bed sheets and covers are provided in the rooms instead of the colored ones.

Good place for hangout and a stopover for your journey to dharamshala or Mata Chintpurni. There are lots of games for kids n adults. Two restaurants one for buffets n other for snacks. You can take your own food also. Ample sitting arrangements with chairs n jhulas. Overall enjoyable place.
