Varanasi is an amazing but difficult city. BrijRama is a wonderful haven that youll appreciate being able to come back to from your adventures in and around the city. The staff is extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. If youre used to the larger Heritage hotels, BrijRama will feel a bit small but it is beautifully redone. The food is good and I would recommend the thali. I frankly dont know how i would have survived Varanasi without staying at BrijRama. It is not cheap but I felt it was ultimately more than worth it.

In the end of August we had been to this wonderful palace for our wedding anniversary. At first we were very disappointed that we couldnot go by boat because of the rising waters in Ganga. The hotel people guided us thro narrow lanes to the hotel. It is 10 minutes walk in the narrow alleys. For 2 or 3 times we enjoyed the walk, but afterwards it is a strain. So best thing to do is avoid this property during monsoon. Other than that every thing about this place is perfect. Eventhough it is not a very big palace, it is nicely restored and beautiful to look at with nicely carved pillars and courtyards. The terraces have a great view of ganga and the serene view you wont forget it for lifetime. the rooms are not big,but it had all the things we need comfortably placed. The service of the staff is exceptionally good. They were warm and always helpful. We were welcomed by a Panditji with mantra and mala. They made our anniversary special by presenting a flower bouquet and a delicious cake.Food was very tasty and they served quickly. Ms. Hemangna in the reception desk helped us to plan our day and gave details about varanasi. They also helped us for our morning pooja in the temple,They arranged a pandit, to take us in the early morning. They took us to evening Aarthi and made us sit in a good place. We again like to visit the hotel when the boat is operating. .

It is expensive but gives the best possible staying experience in Varanasi. Me and my family are very happy to stay in this hotel. All staff have best behavior and very helpful I have ever seen in my travel experience. If money is no object then I recommend everyone visiting Varanasi to experience this hotel.

The Brijrama palace is a jewel somewhat hidden in the narrow bylanes of Varanasi. We went there for dinner after walking down what seemed like miles of narrow streets. The palace was a treat to the eyes and later to the taste buds too. The food was delicious. Made painstakingly because each dish had a distinct flavour and taste! I think its a must visit for anyone visiting Varanasi.
