We were a family group of 9, ranging from 9-78. We loved this hotel and would stay here again. Convenient location being able to walk down to the ghats in a couple of minutes. Had dinner twice in the hotel as the food was excellent. Nice to be able to support their business and the food was wonderful and tasty.

This hotel is on Asigat-immediately next to the River Ganges and next to the amphitheater where the government sponsors early morning wonderful classical music concerts, yoga and other ceremonies. Varanasi was our first stop on a month-long trip and this hotel was the perfect refuge from an overwhelming onslaught of sight and sound. Would highly recommend.

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel and it was brilliant !!! Staff are very welcoming and always have a friendly face They are Always willing to help with any problem you may have they will arrange things for you should you want them too, all the rooms have great character with lot of charm and are very clean, water is provided for you through out your stay just ask if you require more, the breakfast is included in your stay choose from Indian or toast, cereal, fruit, yoghurt as much as you want, we stayed for dinner on 1 evening which was 3 courses all Indian Vegitarian it was very tasty !! There is no a alcohol served in this hotel as in most of the Indian places we stayed in, the situation of this hotel is perfect just stroll down to the river Ganges to experience the fabulous festivel that happen every night the atmosphere is amazing !!! The hotel also has brilliant verandas on 2 levels the first level is fabulous for having tea bought up to you and just sitting and watching the Ganges river form the top its marvellous There are lots of little areas to sit to have tea or food which staff are happy to bring to you,we loved our room large bed we slept very well !! In the evening the Ganges is full of life and very busy, there is a great pizza eating place there just 5min walk from hotel the place is absolutely fantastic pizza, pasta, lasagna, garlic bread all freshly made by the many staff who work there, and sooo very cheap, so imagine eating pizza on the Ganges !!! While fabulous music & celebrations all around you it's such a fabulous experience belive me, Ganges veiw is the best hotel the staff do there best to make your holiday the best,

30 year Old Hotel, which started out as a Home and then converted into a Hotel! The staff makes you feel at Home with delicious no onion and no garlic food. Great view of the ganges!!! A Pure Hindustani Experience!!!

Every room in this hotel has a little sunporch area and an outside patio, You walk up stairs and across patios and through sunrooms and around corners to get to your room and are blown away by the incredible art collection beautifully displayed throughout your journey. This was not the fanciest hotel we visited in India, but it felt very genuine and Indian. A very special place!
