I stayed at this hotel when I went for my friend wedding recently.I didnt booked the hotel online as my friend suggested that you can walk in and book. The experience was not so good rooms were stinky, washroom was not hygienic. Bedsheets and blankets were full of dirt and stinky, The worst part was as soon as I entered into room it was smelling like someone had alcohol the whole night before we got into that room. It wasnt a pleasant stay there. Check before you book.. Thanks Tushar Pathak

If you are an early riser the Ghats are walkable before unholy bedlam starts with the street traffic. Unpretentious hotel. Simple breakfast included and a nearby beer/liqour shop. Had a serious problem at the hotel when I asked for laundry. The items had not been rinsed properly and the detergent gave my skin serious irritation. Avoid laundry!

This budget hotel is away from the extreme busy roads of Varanasi. It is one of the oldest hotel in the town. So do not expect room equipped with modern facilities. To our horror, we found our room has Indian toilet . They get us another room the next day after requesting several times. Room was not properly cleaned, old furniture , dirty linens. Although food tasted good but we had to wait for long time. As they say, you get what you pay for. The hotel is not near the famous Dashaswamedh Ghat, but auto rickshaws are availlable for INR 80/100 each way. Please bargain as tourists are easy target for the auto rickshaw drivers. Overall next time I will try to find another hotel near the ghat even if I have to pay higher price.
