  • Lousy hotel!!!!

This hotel is Daylight robbery. Stayed the night, as it was too late to go in search of another. Checked out next morning. Horrible, bad maintenance, bad smelling rooms. Never been so disgusted! The bathroom was equally bad.

  • A week end in the bank of river Ganga ,"The Varanasi"

    by jayanta_ghatak123 on

It is wonderful to spend , a week at the time of Durga Puja at Holy city Varanasi in the Bank of River Ganga. At out most I must except the days were too hot. There are few place to worth visit staying at Varanasi , Like Chunarfort , Bindhyachal Ramnagar Fort & Sarnath. It will be better to visit the said place day by day alternatively. Ramanagar Fort, Chunar and Vindhya Chal can be visited in a day. 1st Hald Sarnath and 2nd half city visit like Tulsi Mandir, Hanuman Mandir Ram Mandir, Nepal Mandir etc. Evening time can be spend in the Ganga Arti and boating There are road side food stall like Dosa , Idle Puri etc where break first can be done at a chief rate. Hotel Jalajog at Gadhuliya Chalk is good hotel for Bengali Food. Lassi and Pan is every were at Baranas

  • Pathetically Lousy

    by Hasang B on

The Intercom, Lift and Gyesar is controlled by the hotel. They switch these services as and when they feel like. It's terribly inconvenient staying here. You don't get hot water when you want to. U can't call the reception because the intercom is also switched off by the hotel receptionist. U cant use the lift to go down to complain even that is switched off. The bathroom is hilarious with 2 connections to the Gyesar. No matter how hard u try u can't switch on the Gyesar because the fregging thing has its switch with the receptionist. Now u can't make a call nor do they have a calling bell. So that makes u run down. My first ever hotel in which I saw 2 connections for everything. I am a frequent traveller, this was the lousiest hotel. DO NOT CHECK IN...!!! I had to fight with the receptionist... literally...!!! Not worth the money...

  • Value for Money

Excellent Location for the property, ideal for someone visiting for the first time. it's a great mix of close distance from the main shopping/ market area, great food nearby, near to ghat, temple and on the main road. nearest to the heart of the city, Godowlia Nice ambiance, though a little cramped... but cheap & best... courteous staff, decent room service, nice colorful rooms, good interiors.

  • It is preferable for 1st floor

  • All the rooms are average in terms of noise, not really very noisy... but can't expect a quite place as its near the main market for the city.

  • Try to get a spacious room, road facing for ventilation
