It's a nice concept, and in many aspects it does not disappoint. The property is pretty, the staff very friendly and helpful, the restaurant serves top quality fusion food. If you want to get away from the explosion of senses in Varanasi, this is a decent choice, but I am not sure it can be called a luxury resort because the hardware often falls short. Hot water supply is unstable, ventilation is poor in the bathroom, and at the spa, the sauna doesn't heat up, maybe because electricity goes out every 10 mins or so. I do see the challenge of running a luxury property in such a remote area, perhaps this place would be better off as an eco resort.

Loved this hotel! Didnt want to stay amongst the madness of Varanasi so this excellent find half an hour from the centre fitted the bill. Beautiful garden with pool, extreme friendly staff but my favourite was the stunningly designed large rooms. The decor and attention to detail was phenomenal. The restaurant service was a little haphazard, some dishes good and others not and be clear about what you do and dont eat as staff were a little confused. Can definitely recommend this wonderful retreat!

If you are looking for making memories , stay at Tree of Life. If you want experience of a place stay at Tree of Life. If you want good food , stay at Tree of life. And if you want personalised vacation stay at Tree of life . Himmat Anand , we are grateful to you for organising and taking us on a journey where did not know what to expect . We came with no expectations and came back with so much that for days. And weeks I think we shall relive what an experience you gave us . Tree of life is a way of life . You have given it a character and values that branded cant match . If you want solitude you have it and if you want company you can find it . We met as total strangers when we landed and two days later when we left , as friends with promises to stay in touch, share our lives and visit each other . Age was no barrier to the friendships , being in Varanasi ... ego was not a word anyone knew. Strangers who became friends all thanks to the owner Himmat Anand , a great host and experience organiser . I would recommend all to go and stay in the peace and calm of the resort and when you want to experience city life, walk through the lanes of Benaras and imagine a world gone by . Super nice

We stayed for one night and paid Rs. 9166/- for the resort which is 15 mins drive from Varanasi airport and 800 M from main highway. The moment you take left turn, you can see feel the bumpy road and see the muddy houses. At one time we started doubting if a resort costing 9k/night could be located in a village setup. However, doubts were cleared when we saw a wide spread well established two storey premise. I would definitely recommend to stay and experience the luxury for maximum of 2 days. Here are the pros :- 1. Very peaceful, relaxing and positive place to unwind with family or as couple. 2. Staff is very friendly, courteous and really help in booking OLA/Cab for airport. 3. Delicious Mutton Curry and very luxurious rooms 4. Good location for foreigners who want to experience Indian village life and don't want to give up the comfort of warm bed, quilted sheets and western style toilets. Cons are:- 1. It is 15 mins drive from airport, yet cabs take around 500-600 for airport drop. 2. Property started its operation just 1 year back, so they have limited alcohol & food options. 3. Food is expensive. 4. The location is isolated and maximum suggested stay is 2 days as there is not much to do and the lane outside the resort is unsafe after sunset.

Don't miss it when you land at Varanasi , have a calm and relaxation stay before mingling to the ever animated city of Varanasi. This luxury resort seems to contrast drastically with the poor rural area bur the hotel has taken steps for them : fresh poultry, goats vegetables and fruits ... A perfect roadway must still be laid both for the tourists and the rural people. I greatly enjoyed strolling in the rural location but was frustrated not to know their language. The room and staff were great ! I'll surely stay again in this paradisiac hotel
