What's Good: The Hotel could benefit if they put signs from the main street to help find directions.

We had one night here as part of a tour, stayed in the cottage just outside reception. Room was fine, comfy bed. Didn't use the pool, and though it looked nice enough, there is not much space so all the sunbeds seemed to be facing into the pool which was a little off-putting. If you hoped for a private swim this wouldn't be the best pool to swim in. Still, food was good at breakfast and lunch. Beach not far away with night markets and restaurants, felt safe walking around there at night however it is dark and a bit confusing finding your way back. Have a torch and make sure you remember the way.

this was the last hotel that we stayed in on a tour of Kerala. We stayed on for 5 more days to enjoy the laid back resort of Varkala. We found this to be a lovely Hotel especially for the price. Good breakfasts and evening meals - mainly local fair not European breakfasts but toast and cereals available. The pool was nice and there were some loungers around the pool if ;you choose to take the sun.The staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was nice, clean and spacious again bearing in mind the price. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the beach - but this was not a problem and meant that the area was quiet at night. Ask for a room overlooking the pool. Complimentary water every day helped.Good air conditioning. Definitely a pleasant place to stay.

A short walk from the beach, with a decent pool and loungers, friendly owner and good staff, the rooms just seem tired and in need of an update. That includes modern electrics with recharging points. No safe, and the hairdryer provided (on request) looked as if it was from the 1950s with scorched cable. The food was good too. Tough judgement as it has a lot going for it.

Stayed for one night here, but should have stayed for longer. Excellent Resort, very clean and spacious rooms, very helpful and welcoming staff.Quiet location, the best hotel in our trip to Kerala.Food was very good. Beach is very nice, there is a steep slope to get to the beach because Varkala is on a Hill Top.Must stay here for minimum 2 Nights, nice swimming pool.

I was booked two poolside rooms on 04-02-2018 for RS. 8500 for one day. But room size is very small, toilet is not good. In morning , no hot water coming through tab so given in bucket. So don't book this hotel and rate should be not more than 2000 rupees.
