I've stayed at SeaShore twice and absolutely love the place! The quiet, stressfree locataion with lovely staff. Lazy days in the hammock, yoga roof, amazing breakfast view, clean and proper. There is never a problem at SeaShore! Mr Shine will make sure that you are comfortable and will give you tips on what to do in the area. The staff are all very helpful and super nice. Both my stays have been for 3 weeks and I'm coming back. I was extra happy this year for the renovation of the bathrooms in the "small" rooms. Love it!!

An awesome place to stay in varkala. The resort is very clean and away from all the hustle bustle . It serves basic breakfast and doesn't has a restaurant . But on a walkable distance their is an amazing restaurant with breathtaking view. The view from this resort is amazing . It is located on a cliff and you need to go down the stairs for the private beach which is amazing . Very courteous staff . A great place to relax and would definitely visit again .

The location is great--the hotel is located on the quieter south cliff and has stairs directly down to the beach. It is a 15 minute walk or a few minutes by tuk-tuk to the North Cliff with the tourist shops and restaurants. Most of the rooms have hammocks for lounging, and there are more under the trees. Our deluxe AC room was generous in size, but there were issues with the electricity and the AC didn't work 2 out of the 3 nights. As another reviewer noted, there are no blankets, just sheets, so when the AC did run, we had to add lots of layers to sleep. The hot water didn't run from the main shower head, but it did come out of the handheld sprayer. The restaurant only served breakfast, and there was no water in the room, but it could be requested from the staff. All of the staff were friendly and tried their best to be helpful, though they couldn't get the AC working. All in all the place was clean and comfortable, but nothing special.

Had a really great stay here in November 2017. The location is close to Varkala cliff top where all the restaurants are, but further back so you get solitude and no noise on a night. 10-15 minute walk, or 5 minutes in a tuc tuc cost about $1.30 US each way The rooms were always really clean, but the staff were really great to me and my family. After the airline lost my luggage, the front desk was only too happy to help, and even called the airline/airport on my behalf and got a manager on the phone! They were so helpful it was incredible - even using their cell phones to get text updates for me :) Would definitely stay here again.

I came here to relax after a month long yoga teacher training in Kerala. The room was a little disappointing ( standard) the true sea view rooms are more expensive. However the shared porch in front had a hammock and a sea view in the distance. You can also sit in the gardens closer to the cliff but shade is hard to come by. The staff are good but not quite as on it as I experienced elsewhere in India. I had one yoga lesson but then the instructor became ill. Actually, despite these issues overall it was great . Steps leading down to a private beach, great breakfasts and next door is Soul and Surf (better for the single traveller) where you can hang out and take yoga and surf) lessons. A five minute walk to restaurants and 15 to the north cliff( or 100 rupee tuck tuk drive).
