What's Good: Close to railway station and bus stand.

What needs to improve : See my mail.

Reason For Rating : I had specifically requested in my booking, for check in at 7 am on 9-2-2019 and checkout 6 am next day. When I checked in, hotel refused check in till 12 noon for on line booking customers. I waited with family in the reception for more than 2 hours till they allited a room.your confirmation message also did not reach hotel.

  • 3rd class staff and customer service

    by Anupam T on

This is a horrible hotel I have ever visited. The staffs are uneducated and do not speak Hindi. Reception guys who sit there do not know to operate computer properly. The MD of the hotel is also a 3rd class person. He do not speak either English or hindi. I booked this hotel through an app and they have no coordination. Overall a bad hotel to stay either with family or friends or alone. They have inhuman behavior and they are least bothered about the service.

  • Good hotel in olden days

    by 821ravikumarc on

It was situated opp to old bus stand which is till 90s. Till 1991 it is One of the best hotel with good vegetarian restaurant in Vijayawada. It was maintained by first generation Udupi Brahmin family with hygiene with good quality food. Even now also maintains by the same persons with worst maintanence. Each and every aspect the hotel is running very badly. They need renovation in their thinking.

Hotel Mamata offers decent accommodation at affordable prices. Rooms are maintained well. Room service is good. Food is tasty as well. Located at very convenient location. Good for business travelers as well as family.

  • Badly Maintained

    by StevenP3423 on

This was once a premium Hotel, but now it has not only lost its charm but is also poorly maintained. The restaurant at this Hotel was known for its tasty vegetarian food, but now its a shade of its old self. In the 80's & the 90's this place used to serve the best South Indian meal and you would have to wait for at least 30 minutes during lunch time to get your place, but now it hardly occupied. Food here was never very spicy as the owners were from Udipi in Karnataka, who are know for their tasty snacks. One of the specialities was the ceylon parotta. But now the steward hardly knew what it was. Not the best place to get good tasty south Indian food.

  • The rooms and the service are lousy.
