    Very Good!

What's Good: 1. Staff is helpful and prompt on the requests. 2. Need to improve on the Break fast options, some of which can be availed on payment. 3. Room is a bit small. While it did not cause any inconvenience to me, water was leaking from A/C . Regular upkeep of equipment is required.

  • Unclean washrooms and understaffed

    by SukritNagaraj on

My friend had booked this room for my 10 days stay in Vizag from November 20th to 30th, 2019. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It is literally 5 minutes away from the beach. 1. The washroom is unclean. The showers and taps are rusted. They leak. And there were cockroaches. 2. There is no dustbin on the floor so the guests happily throw the garbage in the common room. The cleaners only come once a day so the food waste lays there untouched and as a result, the area perpetually stinks of waste. 3. The kitchen area acts as a dumping ground for broken furniture and plastic. The water tank hasn't been cleaned since the British invaded India. No requests to clean the same were taken seriously, of course. 4. The wifi worked extremely well on the first day. From the second day on till the 7th day of my stay, it wouldn't work. I must have placed a complaint twice during the day and the dude at the reception would show me the movie he was playing on his phone using the hotel WIFI to show how well it worked for him. He failed to understand the router on my floor wasn't doing the job. Had the rooms not been pre-booked and my friend's house been full, I would have happily walked out of there in search for a better option. To top it all these guys wanted a 5-star review. Really? Do some work, first. Earn it.

  • A decent place to stay

    by vaidyanathanb2015 on

Visited Vishakapatnam for attending a marriage and stayed in this place for 2 days. A decent enough place with neat and tidy rooms, airconditioned, flat tv with cable connection, wifi, and a in- house kitchen. Located near Railway station and the beach too is nearby. The staff are very helpful. Provide decent food, coffee, tea etc. , though not having fully operational kitchen. A quiet family/business stay place.

  • OK for the value!

Falcons Nest Guest House is in the residential area of Lawson's Bay Colony and thus no city sounds or buzz and is calm to my liking. Room is fine and clean and so is the toilet, though quite a bit cramped. Breakfast is minimal and is served in the common dining area of the apartment in which each bed room is rented out separately as part of the serviced apartment. However, the disadvantage has been that there is no proper writing table hampering office work. The staff have been very accommodating and helpful.

This guest house is located in very plesant area. The view from top you will see kailash giri, r k beach. Distance is very close to beach. Its good if you are with friends and wanted a room at reasonable price.

  • Unhygienic, Dirty and Cheap

    by SPande on

Spent 2 days in Feb 2017. Office had booked the hotel. There was some mess up in the reservations. Spent good about 20 minutes in the make shift reception counter in the ground floor parking sorting the mess. Staff did not have the decency to even offer a glass of water. The room (405) reminded me of those dingy rooms in Hotels that one finds near Indian Railway stations. Stinking beds, sheets, stained toilets, leaking taps, torn chairs, broken frame of bathroom mirror. The worst was "Dried Nasal mucus" on the walls. May be good for some for the the price though but could be avoided from the hygiene point of view. Wanted to highlight these issues to the Manager but no one seem interested.

  • There are no good rooms. We booked 10 rooms for the entire family...each was worst than the next.

  • Check while entering if water in toilet, power in all sockets, tv functioning, ac functioning and if there is a problem, ask for a change.
