What's Good: Location
What needs to improve : Hygiene. condition of the bathrooms and beddings was not at par
Reason For Rating : Location is one of the perks of the hotel. But this has a huge scope of improvement on the hygiene parameter. Bathroom condition was bit poor and blankets and curtains were not at par with the quality.

What's Good: Nothing
Reason For Rating : i booked through yatra.com paid 1000 bucks but the room allotted for me was Room No.8 on ground floor which was worst, even the worst word is also less to mention this hotel. Hotel Manager Mr Girdhari was very rude in talking to me, when i asked for the house keeping on hotel reception no one came, it took around 1 hour for house keeping to come to my room. Room condition was very poor asked for hot water it also took 1 hour when i complain for the same to Mr. Girdhari for the same he was very rude. I asked him to call the owner of the hotel Mr Anil pathak for the same he was not ready to provide any contact details. I suggest everyone to avoid this hotel there are better options available and Mr anil pathak(owner) should take strict action against Mr Girdari and housekeeping staff.

It was a comfortable stay, room was big and clean. The only issue that I felt was they do not serve food in room though served milk. Their restaurant was good and served only veg food without onion and garlic (and that was the best part). The food was tasty. They also have enough parking space to park your vehicle.

December is best month to visit Vrindavan and Mathura. While most people look for inns , staying in hotel Shubham was a great decision. It's just near start of Vrindavan and most convenient to Mathura station. One can easily stay for 3 to 4 days and visit in sequence the temples, Banker Bihari, Hare Rama hare Krishna, Prem Mandir and Mata Vaishno Devi etc. You may visit Mathura, Goverdhan and Barsana too.

Our priority was to take a hotel near the Banke Bihari Temple. After searching a lot, we could find this hotel. There were two other options available but one was far from the temple and second got sold out just 10 mins before we finalized it. So the last good option left was Shubham Holiday. We booked it online being cheaper than the price they were quoting. Room was ok considering its cost. Bathroom fittings were not in good condition. We had to close all the taps very tight to stop the leakage. Water was salty. Its normal in Vrindavan, however, the hotel should have done something to provide normal water. TV was out of order. It was working, however, the screen was showing only two colors. Blankets were of poor quality. Room service was fast and food was above average. Although, the hotel was not upto the mark as per our expectations, it was one of the best in Vrindavan. Room quality need to be improved.

The location of the hotel is a little into the town, but is well connected to the main market, bankey bihari temple which is roughly 500m from it and ISKCON which is 1.5kms from the hotel. I stayed in a triple seater spacious room, which was quite comfortable. Also, the room service was quick with reasonable prices of food items.
