What's Good: The experience was just awesome. My father, being an heart patient, really like the environment there. He wanted an open space and when we reached there, I could see the happiness on his face. I would like to thank Yatra.com & MVT guesthouse for giving us such experience. I hope we will again visit this place.

It is such a peaceful place, love the vibe. Great kind warm efficient staff. Wonderful food at the restaurant. Im very grateful I stayed here, nextdoor to the ISCKON temple. Ill come back here when I come to the lords place again.

What a wonderful experience this is. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and the fabulous Hare Krishna restaurant, this is a beautiful oasis in spiritual Vrindavan. The rooms are spartan but clean. There are no TVs but there is WiFi. There is no alcohol or smoking but there is delicious vegetarian food that has been blessed. Water is provided in a dispenser and rooms are serviced on request. The towels arent large and fluffy and the beds feel harder than the floor. This is no 5 star resort but it is peaceful, central and a wonderful opportunity to switch off. We were on our honeymoon and laughed at the 2 single beds provided.

The deluxe room had a great view of the garden. It was peaceful and parking was fine. All temples of visit are close by. It is strict vegetarian and very neat dining area and corridors. The greenery is soothing and relaxing. At times monkeys come in and need to be careful.

Pay attention to the cancellation policy. I never cancel reservations so I rarely worry about it. But MVT makes you pay upfront. And if you are from outside of India, they will not give you ANY refund. I got stuck in the middle of the Kerala floods and as soon as I found out the Kochi airport would be closed for weeks and my flight out was cancelled, I emailed MVT to let them know I would not be able to get there. That was 8 days before my arrival date. I got no response so emailed again and got the response that I would get no refund. I have received refunds or no penalty cancellations from all other hotels and even Air India. How hard is it to credit a credit card? Just know that if you send MVT money, it is there's to keep if you are not from India.

The Room we had been allotted was incredibly ill-managed, and not-at-all maintained. It was the total opposite of the reviews of MVT! To my utter horror, there were several cockroaches in the bathroom, and geezer (Hot Water Boiler) was in bad shape, and not working. We had to switch rooms, which was very disappointing. My Parents and Daughter were with me, my parents being both 80+ Years Old. To add on to this, I had requested them loads of times, beforehand, giving them at least 2 Weeks notice before check-in - so it was NOT last minute. The next room was worse. By morning, water had pooled in the room, and there were monkeys on the Balcony, TRYING TO BREAK IN! I had heard the rep of Vrindavans monkeys, and was very scared. The roof was leaking and the kitchen was very dirty. During this period, the restaurant was also closed, and the management hadnt at all bothered to inform me that you needed a special pass to go to ISKCONs Restaurant. My Mother had suffered several spinal fractures, and had a lot of problem! A top this issue, I had paid in full, coming with great expectations, and didnt even get my money back! Not even half of it. They didnt even follow back, and didnt discuss the problem with me, not caring the slightest. After 1 Night , we moved to a top-end Hotel, one of the two best in Vrindavan: The Royal Bharti. There, our stay was very comfortable and the staff helped with the transport around Mathura, Vrindavan, Agra and other sights. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MVT TO ANYONE; HIGHLY ILLMAINTAINED AND DANGEROUS! YOULL BE WASTING YOUR MONEY - BE PREPARED TO BE SHOCKED IF YOU CHECK-IN. Regards, Dr Anjali Maini Mishra Head of Department of Pediatrics, FMC, Doha, Qatar. Ph: +97433031497
