Royal Oasis was fabulous to stay for one or two nights. Decor is Art Deco like stepping back in time , rooms are large with huge bathrooms (no plug for the bath though). The young men running the place are helpful and attentive. Arranging a car and driver was easy at Royal Oasis. Food was excellent , breakfast and dinner. Visiting the Royal Palace, was possible for guests only . Swimming Pool in a detached building ,also Art Deco, and Detached Stepwell also fabulous to see. The only disappointment was in paying the bill . Credit card payment not possible (although this accommodation was chosen because of credit card option )We were not the only ones to find this a great problem. Cash it seams is their prefered payment . Messed up our whole cash flow for the rest of our holiday.

We visited Royal Oasis hotel wankaner. The booking process was very easy and there was a warm welcome .This is a place if one is looking for quiet and solitude time with nature. The property is good although there is a feeling of slight neglect. My suggestions...mostly for Breakfast and Dinner menu needs to be worked on.For eg on our first night the dessert was sooji/semolina halwa..It was diwali time ..one would Expect to be treated to a few delicacies of the city. There were no starters ..menu was a veg ,chicken rice dal papad salad and dessert, which is ok..but I thought the price was a bit steep @600 per person for dinner. A little bit of lights/lighting would have made the property festive. All in all we had a pleasant stay with the staff very warm and there was no extra charge for my pet puppy. We also didnt have to pay for the visit to the palace which is the part of the hotel. I recommend the hotel for singles couples and families.

We stayed at the Royal Oasis for one night to break our journey from Somnath to Bhuj. The booking was easy to make from the UK using the Royal Oasis website. There was an immediate response by email from Yogini Kumari. No deposit or card number was required. I sent further messages informing of arrival time and asking for a car to be arranged to take us to Morbi Bus Stand to continue our journey. These arrangements worked perfectly. We were accommodated in the American Suite which is large, clean and beautifully furnished. On arrival the staff gave us a tour of the site including the swimming pool and step well. The staff cooked an excellent meal for us. As we were leaving early in the morning we asked to pay the previous evening. The staff tried several times to use the card payment machine. We provided four different Visa and Mastercards all of which worked at other places in Gujarat but would not work here. The staff enabled me to speak to the manager by phone as she was on holiday. Eventually it was agreed we could pay with sterling cash but no receipt was provided. We were told that other guests cards had worked but later on our trip we met other travellers who had experienced the same problem.

We visited this historical place in the first week of October and I must say that its worth a visit again as its absolutely charming and unique. Its located in a beautiful, green and serene location nearby a river which makes it even more appealing with peacocks freely roaming the grounds. We had the privilege to pick the rooms of our choice as the place wasnt fully booked then and the rooms were very spacious, clean and had old world charm. This old property houses some lovely vintage furniture and other antiquities and also has a beautiful step-well which cannot be missed. Staff at the hotel were very cooperative and assisted us well at all times and also ensured a smooth check in and check out process in the absence of their Manager who was on a short leave. Our brief interaction with the Manager before the visit was nice and she is thoroughly professional and responsive. Another aspect about our stay that is totally unforgettable was freshly cooked meals including the breakfast that were super delicious followed by a yummy dessert!! On the whole, we had a great experience and would love to return to this cozy and peaceful heritage property soon.

Absolutely stunning place to stay in. The dedicated staff of 2 helpers amd chef was very good. We got the whole hotel to ourselves as there were no guests barring us. Wifi was great Food was made based on what we wanted. At less tha USD 100/night, it is pretty cheap in my view. The rooms are a bit musty and the management can make it much better with some changes in upholstery. Strongly recommended if one is looking for a quiet place to just chill. The palace visit available only to guests is a 1 hour visit for INR 2K/person. I personally felt they could have done without this charge given one is already staying with them. A dinner or lunch in the palace would have been lovely had the management permitted it!
