We had one of the most enjoyable stays in the resort few weeks back when we stayed here for the Pooja holidays. The place is so quiet and serene and you are one with nature. There are not many sightseeing places nearby except Soochipara waterfalls but don't go there for sight seeing. Go there to enjoy nature, fresh air and total silence. It is so energizing! Joji, the manager, is very friendly. We booked the hotel through make my trip few weeks ahead and FM announced GST cut later. He passed on the extra charge to my account even after considering all the meal expenses for three days! Ajith, Shene, Denis, Francis, Arjun, Sudeesh are all so nice and friendly. They take extra effort to take care of your needs. Only coffee was a bit disappointing! i expected better quality in a place known for coffee cultivation. The field visit, within the resort, was very informative. The rooms are nice and spacious and every unit has a balcony overlooking the misty hills. Overall, had a wonderful stay and strongly recommend for people tired of city life - traffic, pollution and noise.

After the Rains is a great resort situated between nature. If you are looking for a place to relax, I would suggest this place. We had stayed for 2 nights at the resort. The view of the valley and the mountains from the room where stunning. Hospitality was at its best. When we arrived at the resort, the manager welcomed us and offered us a welcome drink which was prepared at the resort itself. The staff was very polite and caring and always ready to help if we were in need of anything. The food was really delicious. Every dish was well cooked and had the touch of local cuisine. We felt really satisfied after each meal. We also got the opportunity to meet the chef and appreciate him for the delicious food that he prepared for us. We stayed in the Kah:wah room and it was clean and neat. The view from the lawn was mid blowing. We wanted to stay for another 2 more days at the property but had other plans which could not be avoided. We will surely visit the resort soon and also tell our friends about the resort and ask them to visit the property.

The resort is pretty - i have posted some of the best pictures i got. The room has some premium touches - comfortable bed & a good looking bathroom; the 3 stars in this review are for that...but the overall experience left us underwhelmed. Reasons follow : 1) The booking voucher mentions a lot of activities - farming, village walk, plantation walk. None of these materialized - instead, we were sent on a 20 min. walk to a nearby fishing pond. If there are designated times for each activity, that was never mentioned. 2) The service left a lot to be desired - We were not asked whether we would have lunch the day of check out & when we saw a menu displayed, were told that this was not for us! We checked in @ 6pm & were constantly pressured to check out @ 11am next day. First, the hotel had other rooms available to accommodate a late check out & even if not, we should have been informed the day before so we could amend our program accordingly. 3) The breakfast was ordinary - there was a dirty looking fruit bowl; the coffee was such a dampener - the worst i have had in Wayanad. The juice was watery / over sweet. The milk which they claim to be from their dairy was more diluted than the Nandini double toned packet milk we get in Bangalore!! A resort that touts itself as a haven of relaxation felt more like a typical business hotel that treats it's guest like a job that needs to be finished as easily & quickly as possible. I have seen some other reviews & the manager is not great at accepting feedback; but this is more for travelers like myself who base their decisions on reviews in Trip Advisor...the hotel has natural beauty & potential if it gets its pricing right & is more customer-centric in approach & service.

Great resort amidst nature...Hospitality was topnotch...Food and service was there hallmark...They arranged a complimentary candlelight setup for dinner knowing its our anniversary...Luckily we visited the place in May so no other guest were there...So we got full attention and free access to all the amenities...Only 10 cottages are there I think in entire property which makes you get treated extra special...Definitely a go to place in Wayanad...
