Mr Livingston is a friendly person. We have stayed in one bed room of his 5 bed room villa. Charges are reasonable even during peak season of year end. It is in the city center yet with lot of open space and greenery around the villa. Only issue was the narrow road for about 50 meters to enter the villa. But that can be managed with out much problem. He took us for a plantation tour in his coffee estate of 8 acres, We got to inspect the plants like pepper, orange and some other spices. There is a cottage next to his villa, even that is nice like his villa. I would recommend this home stay.

The Home stay is situated on a small hillock with a good view (from cottage) and parking facilities. The property owners are friendly and ensures your comfort always. Mr.Livingston, the owner also helps you in planning your day by helping with the details of the place and route. The foremost factors to decide this property are: Accessibility - The property being in the Kalpetta town accessible to major tourist attractions of the Wayanad. Pookode lake and Lakkidi view points are just 15 kms away. Apart from tourist destinations, the property is easily accessible from main roads of Kalpetta town and is also in a walkable distance from restaurants, shops and ATMs. Affordable - Considering its location, proximity to attractions and main roads, the property is also a affordable one. If you are a budget traveller looking for all facilities, then this is the home stay for you. If you have time (in the evenings) take a walk to the nearby tea estates and watch for beautiful sunset. Friendly Owners, Accessibility and Affordability are its unique factors. Go for this, if you have plans to stay in Kalpetta.

We went there, a group of 4 girls , to celebrate one of our friends birthday in November 2014. The warmth and care shown by Mr. and Mrs. Livingstone was very touching. Not only did he advise us how to plan our trip , he showed us around his own house (which was beautiful , by the way :)). The cottage is colorful, lovely and picturesque. The interiors are clean and the charges reasonable. On my friends birthday, Mr. Livingstone got a cake for and hosted a lovely dinner (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian). Thanks for making our trip very memorable .. :)

We were a bunch of friends 12 of us, absolutely fell in love with the place. Very neatly maintained and run by a wonderful family. Excellent food, clean house and bathrooms. A very hospitable host and a lovely cat named RIO. Will highly recommend the place, our gang is going back for more :)

My partner and I spent 3 nights at this wonderful home away from home. Raymond and his parents are the warmest hosts in our recent memories. The rooms are very clean and well appointed (we stayed one night at the lower unit and 2 nights on the top floor). The top floor unit has Windows all around overlooking the smokey forests. It felt like we were on a treehouse. Raymond took the time to show us the garden, explained to us about each tree. We tried the luscious butter fruit for the first time in our lives. Wonderful and plentiful homemade breakfast was served each morning by the garden. This is definitely a little gem in Kalpetta, a world away from the nondescript town. Our kudos to Raymond and his family! We had a wonderful time touring the gorgeous mountains of Wayanad on a motorbike. We surely hope to return one day!
