Home more than warm, a family in the heart on the hand. Advices for visit, the traveler is taken care of 100%. This family opens the doors of their home and their heart. Very good value for money, is not located in the tourist area of Wayanad, expect to travel a few miles by car to see the point of interest. Authentic experience guaranteed. Thank you again for this wonderful stay

It was lovely being in a home stay which makes us feel being at our own home at wayanad. I was very nervous because we all are ladies went for trip but after we reach home stay all nervousness gone. very good home stay, good security, neat and tidy rooms, excellent hospitality make it a wonderful place to stay in.

This place is neatly maintained and is run by son of Mr. Paulose. There was NO STAFF at homestay TO COOK OR CLEAN. We were forced to have food outside homestay as they dint have staff to cook. If ur looking for a place to have fun and enjoy then definitely this is not the right place. It is like military rule with boards of NO NOISE, NO DRINKS , NO SMOKING ... NO NOISE BOARDS are hanging in at every place of the homestay. They did not even give us the TV remote as even the volume of TV was reduced to the lowest and TV is fixed to the wall touching roof so that nobody touches it. We were provided with only cable remote. Paulose son was so cruel tat he threw the jackfruit outside the house which we had bought from a farm. My baby was playing with a carpet mat of the1st day and it was removed by them on the 2nd day so tat the baby doesnt play with the mat.. heights of rules .. No hot water in rooms. And BREAKFAST provided was always COLD as it was kept at 6.00am only as Son of Paulose was a school teacher and he had to rush to school early. While booking he had provided with lot of options for food but in actual v were forced to have idly as there was no other option.. We were not provided with dinner on the 2nd day as he forced us to hv outside as he would get late from school and he couldnt cook. VERY STINGY WITH LIMITED FOOD WAS PROVIDED ON 1ST DAY. COFFEE TASTED THE WORST EVER OF MY LIFE.. LAST BUT NOT LEAST ---- THERE IS NOTHING NICE ABOUT THIS HOMESTAY THOUGH IT WAS CLEAN AS THERE WERE TOO MANY RULES WHICH NEVER MADE US FEEL HOMELY... I WOULD LIKE TO RATE THIS PLACE WITH 2 STAR though it was clean due to STRICT MILITARY RULE AND STINGY BEHAVIOUR AND HOSPITALITY. THE WORST HOMESTAY EVER OF MY LIFE

An excellent place to stay in a beautiful place. Mr. Paulose proved to be a perfect host and gave us invaluable tips on what to see, where to go and how to get there. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves during our 3-day stay and loved the peace and quiet of the surroundings. Mr. Paulose truly cares about the experience of his guests, particularly that they should enjoy a peaceful stay. He even turned away some potential guests whom he felt might have spoilt the quiet. He is a real man of ethics. I would heartily recommend staying at County Pep during your stay in Wayanad.

We are a family of 5 from Germany and very much enjoyed our stay at County Pep. That is why we would like to share our experiences with you. On our arrival, Paulose provided us with a warm welcome. We immediately felt like we are welcome and a little at home at his beautiful homestay. The rooms were clean and tidy. Each room had an individual bath room attached. Warm water was always available. Generally, the accommodation was spacious with inside and outside sitting areas and TV. Our host Paulose was very helpful before our stay with the organization of our trip to Wayanad, with the organization of our daily trips around Wayanad and with the organization of our travelling to our next destination. He can provide very valuable information about the tourist spots all over Wayanad and is able to help providing a driver for reaching those destinations. The tourist spots in Wayanad include jeep safaris, visiting a beautiful river delta (Kuruva Island), visiting waterfalls and old temples or hiking up Chembra Peak, where you are rewarded with an amazing view and terrific surroundings. The home cooked food that is there for breakfast and dinner and if you want for lunch, is very delicious. It was our first taste of Kerala south Indian food and we very much enjoyed this new experience! The only suggestion we can make here, is to offer cereals/cornflakes and fruits for breakfast since Non-Indian people might not be used to eat spicy food for breakfast. In conclusion, we would like to very much recommend County Pep Holiday Home for people visiting South India/Kerala from abroad. The rooms Daffodil and Orchid are very nice, the host Paulose is especially considerate and helpful with any wish you might have and you can authentically experience a typical Kerala home with food and green surroundings! Thank you Paulose for our wonderful stay in your home!
