County Pep home stay (name of the house) is very well maintained and very clean. The hosts are very caring and helpful. Food prepared by them (optional) is also very good. Overall all it is more value than the money.

Was travelling to God's Own Country for the first time. This was also my first visit to God's Own Homestay, Misty Mount HomeStay. It was a very exceptional experience. The family maintaining this homestay are very hospitable. They make sure you are comfortable even though you do not understand their language. You do not at all feel you have come away from your home. Special Thanks to Sir. Benny who made sure that we are comfortable. He also was very generous to make a map of the places that we can visit, and also advised which places we need to skip since we were along with our elderly Grand mother. He would even advise on the things that we must purchase at the locations, because it was famous in those places. Now, location wise the homestay is located in the heart of the Wayand District. So you need to plan a multiple day trip. One day towards south and the other towards north. The homestay is located at a very peaceful and quiet place, which makes it more soothing. Food served here is execellent. We wanted to try out Traditional Kerala dishes. And yes, we did have a great time relishing them. The homestay is very cleanly maintained, also it is very hygenic. There is no compromise with regard to cleanliness or comfort here. On the whole, wonderful people to be with especially when you are in a unknown terrirory. Sir. Benny being very expert with respect to the roads and ways, there is very less chance that you can get lost there. Looking forward to visit this place and the people again who made this trip a memorable experience for my family. Thank you for the sweet memories.

We stayed in Daffodills room. The rooms and the homestay itself is so clean. You would feel like at home. The owner is very polite and helping. He helped us plan our daily schedules for covering all spots and on our way back he told us to visit Gopal swami temple, gave instructions to the driver too. The homestay is near the kuruva island. The surroundings are great and giv u a nice break frm the day to day life. Since the homestay is not in kalpetta, it is a lil far from the city, has its own advantages and disadvantages that way. One should have ample cash since there are no working ATMs nearby. If you are looking for a break from monotonous schedule and wana get close to nature...this is the place to be. I would definitely stay here on my next visit.
