After reading many of the reviews we were half minded but glad we booked this resort and took this trip I will rate it 4.5 stars Great for family outings not ideal for couples.. The cottages are clean , big and minimally furnished. This is not a luxury hotel so don't expect anything fancy n come.. The pics you see online are exactly what you will get.. You can trek through the coffee plantation n head 1 km n see a lake with many birds- Ask the locals.. Plan to relax, play and walk around n get away from the city hustle... 1. Google Map shows correct route till the gate no issues 2. The roads are good, last 2 km it's tar topped road with few potholes can't b a surprise! 3. There are no insects, Max few mosquitoes n a spider. We kept window closed after 6pm n kept t coil on n had no issues 4. Food is good, we are veg .. It's a set but varied menu quality n quantity are good Cons 1.Bit of voltage fluctuation so hot water is actually warm 2.no cleaning till requested

Mid of a coffee plantation, independent luxury villas. Good food. We stayed for 2 nights. Edakkal cave and karapuzha dam is near by. We had chance to visit the coffee plantation, more villas are being constructed in the plantation. Over all it was a pleasant stay. Wood like to visit them again

It was me .my wife and 5 year old son who stayed at the willow resorts last week. It was really nice and lush green surrounded. Their villas are independent. Luxuriously furnished. Rooms are really spacious and clean. We stayed at one bedroom villa. My wife was really impressed with the breakfast served. They jave a nice team to maintain the resort. Overall it was a nice experience

Stayed at The Willow resorts to celebrate my wife's birthday in September and must say we are highly disappointed. This place has literally just 4 cottages and a dinning room, with absolutely zero amenities. The cottages are overly priced and there is absolutely no natural views of any kind. The place is in middle of nowhere and food options are limited to a single available cook. "Resort" charges for the bottle of water. The breakfast is decided by cook without any consideration of guests preferences. If the cook made Poori bhaaji and you want boiled eggs, you will be charged for it. The only amenity is a makeshift badminton court, which is used for drying clothes, generally. Else, you can also entertain yourself with a pack of playing cards. My suggestion, if you end up going that far and paying that much, stretch slightly more and go to "The wave", which is much better in terms of quality, amenities, quality and views. And most likely hospitality!

Since we booked the hotel just before the season/Onam Holiday ,we are lucky to get it for around Rs:3000/- -single bedroom cottage with balcony,Verandah,Kitchent, lseparate living room space. Now when I checked the rate its double....So for us it was worth for money.... Regarding access-Till ambalavayal junction the road was quite ok....after that its with full gutters...& the GPS location stops at the road sign board..from there you have to continue driving down to approximately 2km with bad road conditions..... around 15-25minutes drive to Edakkal Caves,5-10 minutes drive to Ambalavayal Museum, 10minutes walk to back side of Karapuzha dam (no access to dam..just view n touch water...thats all...can see lotuses also ), 40-50 minutes drive to Neelimala View point..... Location is quiet good in the middle of coffee plantation ...approx 20 acres property where currently only 4 cottages....where 2 cottages have 2 bedrooms each....there is construction of 3/4 more cottages & swimming pool going on in the site...but no disturbances to current cottages...Because of the silence in the the site ,u can hear sound of birds in the morning.... Regarding Room -Good.....but saw a spider & cockroach inside the room... In bathroom ........the WC seat cover have some mislocation... Balcony have only one outdoor chair ..so if your partner too have to sit in the balcony you have to take indoor chair to balcony ......Room is spacious ,good ,silent,..... Too good helping & guiding staffs .... No nearby restuarants...But they have to improve thier Menu....For breakfast only they have traditional Kerala food....For dinner & Lunch mostly they have Chienese & North Indian dishes .....Taste is good & different ...but not true chinese.. Overall I like the property because to its landscaping ,cofee plantations,Independant cottage, silent property.....
