What's Good: The ambience, food and service
What needs to improve : No one to help with parking the car, Fan in the room was very noisy(english suite), we found a big spider in the toilet comode when we flushed, the blankets given in the the rooms were not at all warm (considering it is a high-end suite we expected better)
Reason For Rating : Really liked the ambience of the place and the English cottage given to us was lovely. Nicely maintained too. The quality of food as improved too.

Reason For Rating : The rooms were very bad . It was not a 3 star. Too much noise at night. The food was very average. This is the worst branch of club Mahindra. There are better places in yercaud you can stay in .

What's Good: It was the most horrible experience in my life so far. Room was not up to the cost charged. The geyser was not working and as was traveling with an infant had a horrible time. The food always reached the room was cold. When we went to the restaurant they said that if we avail buffet then only we can sit in the restaurant else if we order for a la carte we need to order from room. There staff doesn't know how to behave with ladies as they denied a place to my wife who was accompanied with our infant kid a place to sit in the restaurant and asked her to order from the room as she wanted food on a la carte basis. When went to clear the dues they added some extra amount to our food bills. I also saw other dis satisfied travelers who were also complaining. The only good thing about the hotel was the property on which it is placed. Will totally not advise fellow travelers to go for it.

What's Good: The bungalow suite stay at the hotel was quite a pleasant one.. It is a must-visit place for those who love the English way of things with those rich wooden furniture, colorful tiles, glass windows, coupled with the magnificence of the room in totality and the great food provided. Actually we thought of spending 70% of the time in Yercaud sightseeing and the remaining in the hotel, but instead ended up vice versa !!!

What's Good: The hotel needs to seriously work on customer service. For any request one has to remind atleast 10 times. The bathroom door was not working, fridge was missing, food plates were not taken post diner, the sports club had most of the items missing, food was pretty ordinary, adult movie was played which I had to stop and on and on and on..only the saving grace was that the hotel has some space for the kids to play around the steps and the hotel was very quite....

We had booked this hotel for two nights looking at the good reviews. However we checked out after one night. Here are few points to note before any one books this hotel. 1) The best thing here is the wood fired Pizza made live in the bonfire area. 2) The hotel is truly vintage and nice feel of classic artifacts 3) The location is near the lake and all the attractions are near by. 4) The rooms were gloomy with yellow lights every where making it difficult to see. 5) There was no room heater in the room and it was damn cold inside the rooms even in March. 6) The TV inside our room was really vintage and we were not able to see properly any broadcast. 7) There is no swimming pool and the games in the kids play area were in vintage condition and also needs restoration. 8) The food was not tasty however the restaurant ambiance is good. 9) Except for the bonfire area the whole property has narrow paths and little place to sit.

If you are that traveler who loves to stay at unique and quaint places, this is the one for you. Staying here takes you back by a century when this was built for British clans. Built on the slopes of the mountain, this offers a quite place where you hear only bird squeaks and watch monkeys swirl. The food here is decent though they didn't provide with buffet as the occupancy rate was low due to off-season timing. The rooms are very cold and you would have a perfect relaxing vacation if that is what you are looking for. I won't recommend this for families with toddlers as they don't have enough activities to keep them engaged.

A thick Flora and fona amidst coffee and tea plantation is the heritage site located. Old style switch boards to Windows n doors makes the site look vintage but nothing more than this. Felt this is a overrated to call club Mahindra associated resort. Food option is no where close to club Mahindra standards, wood burn pizza is only catch of events else nothing much to do. Missing proper play area and no kids zone makes area look pale

We visited iNDeco's Lake Forest Hotel Yercaud last week & it was a memorable one. I always believe and to most of the time it is true when your check in process is smooth , the entire stay experience will also be great - just a personal opinion. So the moment we checked in , the staff was quick enough to show us 2 rooms for us to choose & this was indeed nice of them . The rooms itself resembles a rustic look with no modern look which is actually a welcome for us since we wanted something different . The resort is well kept & is maintained neat & nice . Food : the food is pretty decent & tasty , but the buffet is very limited & i found the buffet prices to be very economical since we got the member rates. We tried their wood fire pizza which again was good & loved by my son . However the spa (ayurvedic massage) was not that great & felt that I could have avoided ,though got a discount , it was a RIP-OFF & did not justify the cost. I would have rated 5 but for the bad spa service . Otherwise great resort , friendly staff & nice food.

To be frank, this was a highly overrated place. Listing down pros and cons here: Pros: Location: Right next to the Lake Pizza: Yes they make amazing wood fired pizzas in evening. Cons: Rooms: Very basic, not worth the money. No lake view from anywhere in hotel, hence no point of being close to Lake Food: Is pretty ok, but they only have buffet option for lunch. And they charge a whooping 30% extra for room service Resort area: It's pretty green, but that's all. You would always be in front of somebody's room, very difficult to enjoy And they serve bad tea! Very bad tea.
