Although government buses are available for getting around the city, their frequency is quite low. Hence, they are not the most preferred method of transport within the city. Mini buses and vans are available to be hired through local vehicle rental services.

Regular auto rickshaws are locally known as 'Tempu'. Tempus are not used all through the city, but on certain routes only.
