Dharamshala has a humid subtropical climate. This hill station enjoys a beautiful summer, from March to July. The temperatures range from 22 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius. This is the main tourist season, when visitors can go on many hiking trips, through the hills covered with vibrant flowers in full bloom. Dharamshala experiences heavy monsoon rains from mid-July to September, making it one of the wettest places in Himachal Pradesh. A mild autumn season rolls in from October and lasts till the end of November. The temperature during this time is around 16 degrees Celsius. The winter months are from December to February, with heavy snowfall, sleet and fog.
