Nearest Airport: The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is about 30km north of the city. Terminal 1 is about 4.5k from the international terminal. There are regular shuttle buses between the two terminals.

There are regular bus services between Mumbai and cities like Pune, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Mangalore, Goa, Kochi, etc. Buses from other cities as well as the inter-state buses stop at Mumbai Central Bus Station. Buses from Nasik and Pune arrive at the ASIAD bus stand near the Dadar railway station. The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) operates numerous bus services around the year (except the monsoon season) to the popular tourist spots. The Mumbai-Pune Expressway connects the two cities with a travel time of only two hours.

Mumbai in known for its train system and hence the city is well-connected to other parts of the country through a good network of tracks. Express trains and passenger trains connect Mumbai to all major cities of India like Delhi, Bangalore, Calcutta, Hyderabad and Chennai. The two railway stations are Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) and Mumbai Central. Other local stations are Dadar, Kurla and Church Gate.
