About Agra Cantt Railway Station

The charm of Taj Mahal in Agra draws lakhs of tourists to the city, a historical city in Uttar Pradesh. Opened in 1904, Agra Cantonment Railway Station is the main railway station of Agra. In 2016, Minister of Railways Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu flagged off India’s first semi high-speed train, Gatimaan Express, starting from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station (Delhi) to Agra Cantt Station. Setting a new precedent, he also inaugurated an Executive Lounge built by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Operation (IRCTC) on Agra Cantt Station’s Platform 1. The lounge provides complimentary and paid facilities like Wi-Fi, TV, recliners, meals, beverages and a business centre.
