Bengaluru City Junction (SBC) is now officially known as Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station or KSR Bengaluru City Junction. Further, the distance covered by a train from Guwahati to Bengaluru varies from 2988 km to 3063 km. A train journey from Guwahati (GHY) to Bengaluru CY Junction (SBC) can take anywhere from 49 hours to 55 hours. The earliest GHY to SBS train, which is the New Tinsukia – Bengaluru City Express, leaves at 5:25 a.m. and the last one, which is the Kamakhya Junction – Bengaluru Cant Humsafar Express, departs at 8:10 p.m.

There are multiple trains that operate on the Guwahati to Vijayawada route. These include the Guwahati - Chennai Egmore Express, Guwahati SC Special, Guwahati SC Express, Vivek Express, Dibrugarh - Chennai Egmore Express and two Guwahati - Thiruvananthapuram Central Express. The earliest trains on this route – the Guwahati SC Special and the New Tinsukia – Bengaluru City Express – both depart at 5:25 a.m. and the last train, which is the Dibrugarh to Chennai Egmore Express, leaves at 3 p.m.

The other leg of the journey can be completed through five Vijayawada to Bengaluru trains, which include Sangha Mitra Express, Prasanthi Express, Sheshadri Express, Bagmati Express and Howrah Junction - Mysore Junction Express. The Sangha Mitra Express is the earliest train on this route, starting its journey at 6:20 a.m. It originates from Danapur Railway Station and ends at KSR Bengaluru City Junction. Whereas, the last train, which is the Seshadri Express, leaves at 11:05 p.m. It starts its journey from Kakinada Town Railway Station and terminates at KSR Bengaluru City Junction.
