About Lokmanyatilak T Railway Station

Established in 1991, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Railway Station (Mumbai LTT) is a railhead situated in the Kurla suburb of Mumbai and is managed by Central Railway. The station underwent a makeover of Rs 24-crore in order to have a swanky new building providing world-class amenities. In 2013, Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal inaugurated the renovated station. In 2016, Central Railway announced its plan to build a Rs 16-crore travelator, a moving walkway to link Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Kurla Railway Station.

Trains to Top Pilgrimage Sites: As many as 27 trains connect Mumbai to Varanasi. There are about 4 trains to Haridwar and 4 to Amritsar (Golden Temple). A total of 28 trains are linked to Mathura. While 1 train goes to Vaishnodevi, 10 trains are connected to Ajmer. Also, there are 2 trains going to Shirdi and 3 to Dwarka. In the south, there are 10 trains for Tirupati.
