About Lucknow Nr Railway Station

The Lucknow Junction Railway Station is officially known as Lucknow NER. It is one of the two main railway stations in Lucknow and is informally known as ‘Chhoti Line’. Initially, it was the starting and ending point for meter gauge trains. Later, most of the meter gauge tracks were converted to 1676 mm broad gauge.
Lucknow JN railway station has 6 platforms and is adjacent to the Charbagh Railway Station. It has facilities such as AC and non-AC waiting rooms, food stalls, magazine corner, etc. Battery operated cab services (free of cost) are provided to the differently abled people and senior citizens.

Rumi Darwaza and Dilkusha Kothi are situated within 5 km (20-min drive) from Lucknow Junction railway station. You will be amazed by the architecture of these buildings. Husainabad Clock Tower is located adjacent to Rumi Darwaza. It is around 6 km (25-min drive) from the LJN railway station.
