About Puri Railway Station

Puri in Odisha is a famous pilgrimage destination known for its religious and cultural significance. Located on the east coast, it is home to magnificent beaches and temples, especially the Jagannath Puri temple. Opened in 1897, Puri Railway Station is a major railhead of Odisha and is operated by the East Coast Railway (ECoR). In 2016, the Union Minister of State for Railways and Communications, Manoj Sinha, laid the foundation stone for developing the circulating area and improving its infrastructure. The same year, free Wi-Fi service was rolled out at Puri Railway Station.
