Air Botswana: Botswana’s national Flag Carrier
Air Botswana has been upgrading its aviation sector relentlessly so that it can provide its passengers a world-class service and also contribute positively towards the country’s economy.
What Sets Air Botswana Apart
The airline is making every effort to extend its service beyond its limited routes by networking with other airlines
through joint ventures. Air Botswana has signed a codeshare agreement with Qatar Airways
where both these airlines publish and market their flight under their own airline designator and flight number.
The airline has come up with new offers to its leisure and business class travelers so they get best-in-class service at a cheap price. Air Botswana is rewarding its passengers through its Teemane Club program, where the passenger earns miles on every flight. The offer can be redeemed from any country where such programs are legal. This can be used to buy tickets, upgrade the class of travel or even accommodate another companion. It also helps passengers to avail benefits such as access to lounge, priority check-in
and extra baggage allowance for no additional charges.
Air Botswana flies to 11 destinations including both domestic and international. Domestic flights
carry passengers to and fro through Francistown, Gaborone, Kasane and Maun. It also connects to various countries in Africa such as Kenya, Malawai, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Air Botswana is the only airline that flies between Gaborone and Cape Town without having to stop at Johannesburg.
Service You Can Expect
Air Botswana offers its passengers with variety of lip smacking snacks and chilled beverages. It also provides fresh and tasty meals when requested at the time of booking. The air carrier also ensures that the customers are engaged and entertained while traveling, thus it provides a gamut of magazines and newspapers for them. It also provides in-flight entertainments to its passengers through its audio/video shows in front of their seat.
Air Botswana has two classes for passengers: Economy and Business. The airline has modern fleet of ATR42-500 advanced turbo propeller aircraft with a capacity of 46 passengers. This modern aircraft offers the passengers with jet-like standards and comfort.
