AIR SERBIA Airlines

Air Serbia, formerly known as Jat Airways, is a carrier trusted my millions. It is the flag carrier of Serbia and its largest airline. About 49% of the company is currently owned by the Etihad Airways and the rest by the government of Serbia. The carrier also maintains codeshare arrangements with 13 other airlines.

I booked Etihad, which got changed to Air Serbia. I understand that Air Serbia is a travel partner; however planes, service, staff and food are significantly lower than Etihad. Had I known about Air Serbia, I would have never booked this flight. Ground staff management in Delhi was very bad. My bags were delayed and they made me run from pillar to post to get a claim filed and have still not paid for my delayed baggage allowance. I have been traveling for 18 years and never experienced such poor service. Not to mention our experience on all airports (Warsaw, Belgrade and Abu Dhabi) was poor, primarily because of the ground staff. Almost all flights were late to take off and few were late to land. This put me under tremendous pressure to catch my next flight. Most airlines have their groundstaff waiting at the gate of arrival to take us directly to the next departure gate. There was no such help provided. I upgraded one leg of the journey to business class (paid upgrade) from Abu Dhabi to Delhi, however there was no change in service standard. Only better food and little better seats (compared to other airlines business class). I would definitely not recommend Etihad (or Air Serbia) to anyone!

"Would you recommend this to others" - Very unlikely
