Established in the year 1929, LOT Polish Airlines is the flag carrier of Poland. Headquartered in Warsaw, it is one of the world’s oldest airlines still in operation. It began as a state-owned venture, but now has both government and private stakeholders. With a government stake of 68%, LOT Polish Airlines has three subsidiaries: Eurolot, Centralwings and LOT Charters. It also has codeshare agreements with over 20 different airlines.
