Sky Airline web check in
Chile’s second largest airline after LATAM, it is in fact very simple to do a Sky Airlines web check in . You can choose to do a web check in, or check-in after downloading the airline’s app, and of course you can physically check-in at the airport kiosk. But whichever option you pick, it is always preferable to do a self check-in to stay ahead of the queues and prevent undue delays at the airport. For web checkin, make sure you have already retrieved your booking details by logging into the Sky Airline website with your username and password. Further on, enter your booking number followed by your last name and select ‘search’. The subsequent page will show you the seating plan and allows you to make your choice from the available ones. Click ‘submit’ and your web checkin is done.

In order to check your Sky Airlines flight status, go to the ‘plan your trip’ option on top navigation. Select ‘flight status’ and you will get two options to get a real time update on your flight. You can either do a destination-wise search by entering the origin destination and the arrival destination. Or you can search by the flight number. Both the methods will give you an update on your flight schedule in case there is a change in the time of departure, if the flight is delayed or cancelled.

Web check-in opens 48 hours ahead of your flight’s scheduled departure and closes an hour before your departure time. Make sure you have the requisite flight booking details handy when doing your web check-in
Q. How can I take a print out of my boarding pass?
A. Login to your account on the official Sky Airline website. Then click on ‘check in’ and feed in your reservation number and surname to get your boarding pass. You can print the page. In case you are not able to do so, you need to arrive at least 2 hours ahead of your departure time for your domestic and at least 3 hours ahead of your departure time for an international flight. Not to mention, you have the choice of showing your boarding pass from your mobile handset.

In such a case, you can check-in directly at the airport. For a domestic flight check-in, arrive at least 2 hour prior to your scheduled departure time at the airport counter. For an international flight

, if you have bags to check in you need to come in at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled departure, this is because the system at the check-in counter shuts 40 minutes ahead of the flight’s departure time. For an international flight, in case you have bags to check in you need to come in at least 3 hours before your flight’s departure time, this is because the system at the check-in counter shuts 60 minutes prior to the departure time. But in case you have already done your web check-in and have no check-in luggage, you can head straight to the boarding gate an hour to no later than 10 minutes ahead of your flight’s scheduled departure.
Q. Are there any restrictions for web check-in?
A. There are a few special cases where the check-in can be carried out only at the airport. Some of these include; in case you are someone with special needs, you are travelling with in-cabin or in-cargo-hold pets, you are an unaccompanied minor and you are travelling with an infant.

A. Your web check-in can be cancelled on two conditions; when you want to change the date or destination on your ticket, and when you wish to raise a request for the refund of taxes. A. This is a privilege card that allows you access to priority lines at the airport kiosks so that you can board in any time you like. The Star Pass entitles you to a special queue that allows you to check-in first. Post check-in, you can be among the first ones to board the plane through a special queue. A great advantage giving you the liberty to place your carry-on baggage first on the overhead cabins. The Star Pass is, however, a paid service you can avail at the time of booking.
