Haneda Airport, Tokyo

Formally called as Tokyo International Airport, the Haneda Airport or Tokyo Haneda Airport is located in Ota, Tokyo, 14 kilometers south of Tokyo Station. The airport terminals are managed by Japan Airport Terminal Co. ltd. and the airfield is handled by Tokyo Aviation Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. It was opened in 1931 and handles more domestic flights as compared to international flights. Haneda Airport is the busiest airport in Japan and among the 5 busiest airports in the world. Haneda Airport has three terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and International Terminal. Terminal 1 was opened in 1993 and is divided into North Wing and South Wing. Regional flights operated by Skynet Asia Airways, All Nippon Airways, and Air Do take off from Terminal 2. The Tokyo Monorail operates from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 to Hamamatsucho Station on the JR Yamanote Line. Keikyu Railways connects Haneda Airport with Tokyo's Shinagawa Station and the Asakusa Subway Line.
