Other delicacies include the Tirggel which are Christmas cookies. Macaroons like Luxemburgerli are prepared from egg whites, almond meal and sugar. For traditional Swiss comfort food, sample the rosti. Made of potatoes, these are the Swiss hash-browns. Try the Gruyere. It is the best-known Swiss cheese.
