    How To Reach Dambulla

    In order to reach Dambulla from other countries, tourists are required to take a flight to the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, which is the nearest international air gateway to the town. From the airport, various means of ground transportation can be availed to reach here. Dambulla does not have a railway station; however, people can reach the place by taking a train to Habarana or Kekirawa that are about 25 km away. This town can also be reached by taking a bus from any of the major cities of Sri Lanka. Buses coming to the town halt at the Dambulla Bus Station, which lies in its outer bounds.
