It currently has three lines crisscrossing the length and breadth of Cairo, and it has 61 stations with a total length of 78 km. Cairo doesn’t have an extended local train network even though Egypt itself has an extended train network. The train station in Cairo is the Ramses Station, and these train services can be availed to travel from city to city within Egypt.
