About dubai

Glittering like a jewel of the desert, the glamorous city of Dubai is a land of dreams. Ultramodern skyscrapers rising against an azure sky forms the gleaming skyline of this cosmopolitan city. As night cloaks Dubai, the city comes alive with twinkling lights adorning these tall superstructures. A drive along Downtown Dubai at night leaves you mesmerized by a fantasy land of lights and colours that surrounds you. Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, will leave you open-mouthed in wonder. Fall under the spell of the largest dancing fountain in the world, the Dubai Fountain. Swim with the sharks in the gigantic aquarium at Dubai Mall and lose yourself to a world of make-believe at Mall of the Emirates. A curious blend of traditions and modernization can be seen in every corner of Dubai. A perfect example of this is Al Fahidi Fort, the oldest building in Dubai which is surrounded by a fast-paced metropolis. The sprawling Miracle Garden and Dubai Creek Park is a testament to the determination of the people of Dubai, to beat the odds and grow vibrant blooms smack in the middle of the desert.

dubai Travel Guide , uae

When you talk about Dubai, everything is superlative. Be it the tallest, lavish, most expensive, deepest and outlandish of culture, architecture and tourism. These are probably words created especially for this dazzling city, because where else in the world would you find seven star hotels, world’s tallest buildings, series of man-made islands and beaches shaped like a huge palm tree and the world map?

Amidst all this modernity and neck spraining skyscrapers there is also another side to Dubai which will definitely fascinate culture loving tourists. Here, there are old souks, forts, spice souks, gold souks, and traditional markets with souvenir type products. These souks are not usually covered on guided tours of Dubai; hence it is advisable to take it up by yourself if interested. A few kilometres into the magnificent desert you can find the camels roaming around free, a stark contrast to the bubbling city of Dubai. There is always a vibrant and cosmopolitan air about this dream destination for tourists.

Dubai can be segregated in to various sections according to their city landscape. Bur Dubai, Deira Dubai, Inner suburbs, Sheik Zayed road, Jumeirah, The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Burj Al Arab and surrounding areas, Sharjah, Hatta and Abu Dhabi. Each segment has its own specialty and each one being worth the visit in their own charming way. Let us have a look at various Dubai Tour Packages which can serve as a perfect Dubai travel guide while you are being touristy in this country.

4x4 desert safari

Take any Dubai Tour guide, and you will definitely see a trip to the desert safari because these magnificent deserts are the pride and soul of the city. This desert safari is not just about the adventurous drive on the sand dunes, but there is so much more to it! The whole desert safari experience takes about 5 to 6 hours. Once you are done with the roller coaster of a drive on the sand dunes, you will then reach a spot where you will be entertained with several activities such as belly dancing, camel rides, ATV rides, getting henna on your hands, holding the majestic owls and clicking a picture with them followed by dinner. there will be breaks taken in between the dune rides where you can get down and take photos.

Abra ride on the creek

Abra rides are more often than not overlooked because of the plethora of commute options available in the city. Abras are basically tiny boats which take you across the creek which runs in between Bur Dubai and Deira Dubai in the shortest possible time with some picturesque views. Each of the Abras can accommodate up to 20 people on board per ride but if you want the whole boat to yourself you can always pay a little extra and take the entire Abra to yourself. The best time to take this ride would be in the evenings as then you can see the beautiful sunsets. Also, this ride will help you see the older parts of Dubai that mostly does not get covered in a guided tour of Dubai.

Ski Dubai

This is the most entertaining tourism destination in Dubai which is perfect for age groups. Here, you can experience snow along with fun activities which will give you an adrenaline rush such as skiing on the slopes, chair lifting, snowboarding, interacting with snow penguins, etc. all this in the same place. What we say to be the cherry on the cake is the Avalanche Café in this park which serves you some delicious quick bites after a power-packed fun filled experience. Ski Dubai offers various packages which you can choose from and one of it being you can take actual skiing lessons from trained instructors! This must definitely be on your Dubai travel guide if you haven’t experienced snow in your life.

Dubai Miracle garden

The Dubai Miracle garden should be your top priority if you are going on a guided tour of Dubai and especially if you are a nature lover. There are lush green gardens with a lot of flora which are so soul filling that it will leave you relaxed and energised throughout. It is also the world’s largest natural flower garden and the fact that this is existing in the city of deserts is what makes it unique. The miracle garden house various models made out of fresh flowers such as vehicles, animals, The Burj Khalifa, and many more. Pioneering in flower designing, these structures are also mechanised to make move and change shapes and lights accordingly. Visiting this garden can truly do miracles to your mood! Since this is a quite recent development, it must definitely be on your places to visit in Dubai.

Burj Khalifa

No guided tour of Dubai is complete without visiting the pride of modern of day Dubai – Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. this building is so tall that it is visible from any part of the city. It has a total of 160 storeys and is of 829.8 metres high! Visiting “At the Top” inside Burj Khalifa is a popular tourist activity where you can enjoy a 360 degree view of this dazzling city from the 124th floor. Ticket prices vary as per the levels from general tickets to luxury tickets where you will also be served delicious refreshments which you can enjoy while being awestruck from the view.

Dubai Marina dinner cruise

The Dubai Marina Dinner cruise is a 5 star luxury cruise which is also known as the Alexandra Dhow cruise. This cruise offers an extensive buffet while gliding along the Dubai creek with magnificent views of Dubai’s stellar architecture. This cruise lasts for about two hours and also has a liver singer and Tanoura dancer to entertain the people on board. At extra costs and special requests, they will even offer you special arrangements if you wish to celebrate an occasion on board.
