. Arrival by car: You can take the A44 motorway that crosses the exhibition ground. Whether it is a self-drive car or a taxi, you need to get off Junction 29 and drive into the car parking P1 and P2. From Cologne, the Dusseldorf exhibition centre is an hourâs drive, while from Aachen and Dortmund it takes under two hours. . Arrival by local transport: You can take the tram number U78MERKUR or U79 Messe Ost, or bus number 722. The two significant stations from where you can change include Heinrich-Heine-Allee and Hauptbahnhof. Most stations in Dusseldorf can be accessed from these stations.
. Arrival by air: The Dusseldorf Airport is about 3 kilometre from the exhibition grounds with direct connectivity to about 200 destinations across 50 countries in four different continents. From the airport, you can take the free shuttle bus service (bus number 896) to get to Interpack exhibition centre, or simply hire a taxi. The airport here is pretty accessible from most hotels in the city. Even at the arrival hall of the Dusseldorf Airport, you can lay your hands on some essential material on the fair including those on how to reach, the facilities and stall details. The flat taxi rate from the airport to the exhibition centre is 20 Euros at any time of the day.
. Arrival by caravan: Visitors coming in by caravan can use the Car Park P1 with 800 caravan spaces with its own power supply. There is a separate section for toilets, waste disposal and showers, and to access these spots you need the code lock. The parking fee for caravans is 35 Euros per day which includes electricity.
